Running Water

Year Built: 1954
Square Feet: 2,940
Bedrooms: 4
Property: 0.53 of an acre
Location: Croton, on the banks of the Croton River.
Best features: This is a unique and appealing house in a great spot. Designed by Aaron Resnick—one of the architects who worked on Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian homes—this mid-century house boasts walls of glass, interesting angles, and lovely woodwork. The house is perched over the river and has stairs down to a private beach.
Downside: The kitchen is way cool, but may not meet everyone's standards. It's hard to tell from the photos, but some of the "Wright" detailing looks wrong (and not original).
Taxes: $18,755
Asking Price: $869,000
Agency: Houlihan Lawrence
