On Top of Mount Airy

With 4.7 acres in one of the highest points of Croton's lovely Mt. Airy section, the best features of this listing are the land, location, and great views. Which is saying a lot, since the house has plenty to offer on it's own. Built in 1925, the 3,500 square foot abode has 5 bedrooms and a number of large public areas. While some of the original detail and character appears to have been lost in previous renovations, the house has nice bones and plenty to work with. At $22,533, the taxes are nothing to sneeze at—but the price strikes me as reasonable considering the whole package. What do you think? $950,000
