Making Movie Magic

On Saturday the Jacob Burns Film Center celebrates the opening of it's new Media Arts Lab, which is located a block from the theater in Pleasantville. The eco-friendly building was designed by KG&D Architects in Mount Kisco and features editing suites, a soundstage, recording and animation studios, and a screening room. The facility will offer filmmaking and cinema studies classes for kids, teens, adults, and families. Visitors are invited to tour the building, meet faculty, and participate in hands-on activities.
