Modern Art, Via India

The Hammond Museum's exhibit "Erasing Borders" features works by over 40 artists who have origins in India. The pieces, including Papel Picado by Swati Khurna (above), include photography, sculpture, paintings, and other media. The exhibition was reviewed in Sunday's New York Times. Check out the IAAC site for samples of work by each artist. Through September 6. Indo-American Arts Council, Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden
